TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Please arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure time.

Please ensure your luggage is not huge and does not exceed 23kg to avoid paying extra fees. This policy varies between airlines, so check the website of your designated airline before travelling.

COVID 19 PROTOCOL

If you’re fully vaccinated on departure, you must validate your COVID-19 certificate. To do this, create an account on the Global Haven site and follow the prompts to validate your certificate. Please find the link below:

You must fill out the Kenya Health Declaration form the day before or on the day you’re traveling: https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration/

When done, please save and print the Permit to Travel /QR Code at the top right corner of the portal. You’ll be required to present it at the point of boarding.

When returning to Nigeria, fully-vaccinated travelers will be required to present a verifiable full vaccination certificate with a valid security mark; and the permit to travel certificate/QR Code given on the Kenya Health Declaration website.

If you are NOT fully vaccinated, you’d be required to present a negative PCR COVID-19 test certificate.

You will also be required to register on the Nigerian International Travel Portal (NITP)- nitp.ncdc.gov.ng. The travel permit/QR code generated will be needed to board.

FULLY vaccinated travelers are NOT required to observe the mandatory 7-day quarantine nor undertake the day 2 and day 7 post-arrival PCR tests when back in Nigeria. Please read through this link for more details – https://nitp.ncdc.gov.ng/guidelines

What you will do

Met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi and transferred to your 4* hotel where you are booked on Bed and breakfast basis. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be briefed on the rest of the days program.

DAY 2 - Nairobi (with Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Center & Maji Magic Aqua Park tour)

Breakfast at 1000 hrs, visit the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, which is located on a plot inside the Nairobi National Park. At the Orphanage, orphaned animals are raised and re-introduced back to the wild. Sheldrick animal orphanage is the first to successfully hand rear infant elephants and return them to the elephant community in the National Parks when grown. Orphaned by poachers and natural causes, infant elephants face certain death and can only survive the trauma if adopted and nurtured until they can be independent. The orphaned animals at Sheldrick animal orphanage are given 24 hours care by their keepers who became their replacement family. Sheldrick Animal orphanage is a heart-warming experience that should not be missed. It is open for visitors strictly between 11 am and 12noon when the orphans are enjoying their habitual mad bath.

At 1200 hrs., proceed to the Giraffe Center. Giraffe Centre was established in an attempt to save the endangered Rothschild giraffe. The Rothschild giraffe had lost its natural habitat in western Kenya due sub-division and resettlement and only 130 Rothschild giraffe were remaining. The Giraffe Centre is home for about 14 resident Rothschild giraffes. At the Giraffe Centre, you will be able to hand feed, observe and even kiss the friendly Rothschild giraffes. Visitors at the Giraffe Centre get a chance to come into close contact with these remarkable, graceful animals.

Lunch on own arrangement and then proceed to the Waterfront Shopping Mall in Karen for fun activities at the Maji Magic Aqua Park. Are you looking for an insanely fun experience to share with friends and family, you are in the right place! Maji Magic is one of the top things to do in Nairobi and is fun for all to enjoy. Home to Africa's first ever Aquapark you can explore the course, scale the obstacles and race against friends and family whilst enjoying seeing everyone get wet and wild.

Dinner will be served at the famous Carnivore restaurant. The Carnivore is justifiably referred to as Africa's Greatest Eating Experience. Twice voted amongst the world's 50 best restaurants by UK based Restaurant magazine, the Carnivore is an amazing open-air meat specialty restaurant that has strikingly different food service and atmosphere to any other restaurant in Kenya. Whole joints of meat - legs of lamb and pork, haunches of exotic meat, rumps of beef, sirloins, racks of lamb, spare ribs, sausages, chicken wings, skewered kidneys, even crocodile, and other tasty morsels - are roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant.

DAY 4 – Nairobi (with National Museum, entertainment at Village market and Two Rivers Mall)

Breakfast at 0930 hrs., commence the days' Excursions by visiting the National Museum of Kenya. The National Museum houses extensive ornithological collections, animals and ethnographic displays of various tribes in Kenya. Visitors will be able to observe exhibits of fossil from Lake Turkana, geological displays, rock arts from Tanzania and exhibits about topics such as Swahili and Asian culture in Kenya and Masai Mara Wildlife.

At 1100 hrs., drive to Ozone Trampoline Park, which is Village Market's 15,000 sq. ft. trampoline park that is great for kids, teens and adults alike. The décor is urban graffiti. There are live in-house DJs, a private party area and a snack bar. The special matatu lounge is reflective of Nairobi's fast-paced lifestyle. There are 10 park activities at Ozone waiting to be explored including Open Course, Professional Climbing Wall, Dodgeball Court, the Ninja Course, Slam Dunk, Parkour Wall, Small Climbing Wall, the Baby Trampoline, Olympic Trampoline and the Foam Pit.

At 1300 hrs., proceed to Two Rivers Mall for lunch (on own arrangement), followed by more outdoor entertainment at the Two Rivers Mall's Funscapes Theme Park. Two Rivers Mall sits on circa 67,000 sqm and is the largest shopping center in SSA (outside of SA) with over 200 stores offering local and international experiences. It's anchored by retail giant Carrefour and boasts fan favorites like Nike, Burger King, Hardees, Magic Planet, Spur, Swarovski, LC Waikiki, Platform, Ashley Furniture, Art Café and cinemas. Besides shopping, you will spend the day having fun at the Funscapes Theme Park, Magic Planet and the Skate Park. The above activities are on own arrangement since prices may vary during a high season.
The entertainment includes a ride on Africa's largest Ferris Wheel, which offers riders incredible panoramic views of the Kenyan capital. Dubbed 'Eye of Kenya', the 60-metre-tall amusement park-style attraction, consists of 40 fully enclosed air-conditioned cabins each sitting up to six passengers who are taken 60 meters above the ground in safety and comfort of the full circle ride. The Ferris Wheel rotates slowly but constantly, allowing riders to get on and off without stopping. The ride takes about 17 minutes.
