Overview

Coast, mountains, valleys, ancient towns… Morocco has it all. No visit to this beautiful country is complete without a trip to the Sahara. The world’s largest hot desert, the Sahara stretches across much of North Africa – from the Red Sea in the east to the Atlantic Ocean in the west.

One of the most accessible routes is Merzouga, a small village in southeast near the Algerian border. Climb aboard a dromedary that will take you through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will arrive in the sand dunes, 490 feet above sea level, just in time for the sunset.
