TRAVEL REQUIREMENT

Please arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure time.

Please ensure your luggage is not huge and does not exceed 23kg to avoid paying extra fees. This policy varies between airlines, so check the website of your designated airline before traveling.

A Yellow fever card is required for this trip.

COVID-19 PROCEDURE

You must travel with face masks and sanitizers and use them in public places.

All travelers are required to fill in an online Traveler’s Surveillance Form within 24 hours before arrival in Tanzania. The form is available here: https://healthtravelznz.mohz.go.tz/traveller/#/home

Fully vaccinated travelers are exempted from RT-PCR, Antigen Rapid Test, or EDE scan requirements regardless of the flights taken. However, you are required to present a valid vaccination certificate with a QR code for verification upon arrival.

Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated passengers must have a negative PCR COVID-19 or COVID-19 NAAT test taken at most 72 hours before departure. In addition, the certificate must have a QR code. This will be presented to the airline upon check-in and arrival.

You will be required to register on the Nigerian International Travel Portal (NITP) on returning to Nigeria – https://nitp.ncdc.gov.ng. The QR Code generated will be needed to board. A payment ranging from N50,000 to N55,000 is required to complete the form. This payment is for a Covid test that will be taken 7 days after arriving in Nigeria.
