Emirates and Air Peace sign landmark agreement
Nigerian travellers now have more seamless travel options thanks to a new interline agreement between Emirates and Air Peace. This partnership will make it easier for passengers flying between Nigeria and Dubai to access more destinations within Nigeria with a single ticket and simplified baggage transfer.
With this agreement, travellers flying on Emirates from Dubai to Lagos can now seamlessly connect to 13 additional Nigerian cities, including Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt, Asaba, Enugu, Benin City, and more. This expansion makes domestic and international travel more convenient, whether for business, tourism, or visiting family and friends.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the airline’s long-standing commitment to Nigeria’s aviation, trade, and tourism industries. “This partnership with Air Peace is the next step on this journey, bolstering our connectivity and introducing more travel options for corporate leisure, and travellers visiting friends and family to and from Nigeria.” he said.
Air Peace’s Chief Operating Officer, Oluwatoyin Olajide, echoed this sentiment, stating that the partnership aligns with the airline’s goal of improving global connectivity for Nigerian travelers. “By improving ease of travel, we are boosting business, tourism, and trade opportunities, further strengthening economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE,” she said.
This collaboration also strengthens Nigeria’s aviation sector by enhancing connectivity, and efficiency, and positioning the country as a key hub for regional and global travel.
As Emirates is one of only two airlines operating First Class into Lagos, more travellers from Nigeria can now enjoy the premium experience that Emirates is known for.
