These are the 10 best airlines in 2024
In a notable shift within the aviation industry, Brussels Airlines has ascended to the top of the AirHelp Score rankings for 2024, surpassing Qatar Airways, which had maintained the leading position since 2018.
The AirHelp Score is an annual evaluation conducted by AirHelp, an organisation specialising in air passenger rights. This ranking assesses airlines based on three primary criteria: on-time performance, customer opinion, and claim processing efficiency. These factors provide a comprehensive overview of an airline’s reliability, service quality, and responsiveness to passenger concerns.
Brussels Airlines, the flag carrier and largest airline of Belgium, achieved an overall score of 8.12. The airline’s performance was well-balanced across all evaluated categories, with particular strength in claim processing, scoring 8.7.
Qatar Airways, based in Doha, secured the second position with a close score of 8.11. The airline excelled in customer opinion, achieving a high score of 8.9, indicative of its renowned service quality and passenger experience. Despite this, a lower score in claim processing (7.3) contributed to its slight decline from the top spot.
